Halo Wars: Definitive Edition early access has opened for those who pre-ordered

Microsoft said it’s mailing Halo Wars: Definitive Edition access codes to gamers who pre-ordered, so check your mail inbox and spam folder, If you didn't receive it hang tight for a few days. If you ordered through a retailer, check in with them.

Once you have the code you can redeem it on Xbox.com to start downloading Halo Wars: Definitive Edition on PC or Xbox One. It’s a Play Anywhere title

Halo Wars: Definitive Edition is an updated version of the 2009 Xbox 360 RTS, boasting improved visuals and audio, all DLC, new achievements and 4K support on PC.

The full launch of Halo Wars 2 on February 21.
